A nightmare experience that is second to none. I have never seen such an uncoordinated approach in service. You are completely overwhelmed with 6 men to operate the outside area, as you simply pick up and operate across and across. Waiting time for the first drink was 20 minutes. We waited another hour for the meal. We waited again for the cutlery so that the food on the table in front of us grew cold. You are almost ignored as a guest and it was impossible to get the waitress's attention in less than 10 minutes. The food can be described as acceptable, but by no means good. The side salad is simply tasteless and almost inedible. I don't even want to start with the interior and exterior furnishings. After I asked for the bill, 10 minutes later I found the waitress eating in the interior myself and didn't want to hear anything more about it. When I expressed my displeasure in a matter-of-fact way, I was turned on by several waiters in the most impolite manner, saying that they cannot help that the service is miserable. This way of dealing with customers is unacceptable. Chefs and service staff should be completely replaced. My tip: go around this establishment in a wide arc.

Had super delicious carp fillet in batter and homemade salad. In the middle of the forest there is still parking space for the car.

Absolutely unfriendly and incompetent staff !! After waiting 35 minutes for 1 piece of plum cake and 1 cup of coffee to point out that I no longer want this, they promptly charged me with this and told me to take out my bad mood somewhere else! INSANE, THE CUSTOMER IS KING !!! 🤮🤮

Nice stopover while hiking. Warm meals throughout at fair prices. Nice terrace with playground right next door. Great for children, because there are also sheep, rabbits and guinea pigs to marvel at. The service was friendly and I liked the food. Gladly again!

The good up front the food was okay. The shop is getting on in years and is shabby, nobody tries to tackle it here. In front of the current entrance (due to coronavirus, you go over the terrace to the main house) next to garden utensils, the ashtrays for the tables ... The seat cushions outside are from the year of foundation .. The cordon rouge is on the menu with € 11.80 on the receipt, it is then € 12.80. We pointed this out to the waitress. They willingly wanted to pay us the euro, which we waived. Unfortunately for us it is no longer a place with a comfortable atmosphere.

Very calm and very nice place to relax. I can't say how it looks at the WE. The food is good, is served quickly and it is inexpensive. I would happily recommend it.

Cozy inn in the middle of the forest. Good burger food, good cakes. Recommendable.

Quiet and idyllic location, always good for a stop on hikes in the picturesque, natural surroundings. Nice portions. For me, every visit is a journey back in time to the early 80s. Large terrace in the shade in the evening (because of the nearby forest edge).

Always happy ... Delicious Franconian food, great cakes, nice service, and all of that in this idyllic landscape in the middle of the forest. We'll definitely be back!

Environment super idyllic, facilities with children's infrastructure (playground and animals) very good, menu good, only the dog piles in the playground were unsightly.

Wanted to give Reuthof another chance after a sausage salad that tasted disgusting like the fridge 3 years ago. Unfortunately, it wasn't that special again. Dry meat, side dishes and sauces mostly convenience from the wholesale market, more reminiscent of a canteen than a country inn A bit weak for an economy in tasty Franconia. Service ok

Great Franconian food, sundae and cake at its best, good value for money, nice staff

After a hike we stopped there. Food is okay. It just took a little while for the food to come. Otherwise, everything is fine. Staff friendly.

... excellent restaurant in beautiful Franconian landscape!

We stopped our car at the gas station and because of this restaurant's small add board, we decided to have dinner there. It's a quite close to the highway (5km) and easy to reach if you have a GPS. There's no English menu, it's really different than the original Deutsch version, and no staff speaking English, then it's mandatory to speak or be with a Deutsch speaker to visit the place. The place is really cool and looks traditional, at least about what comes to my mind when I think about Germany. The food is delicious, I tried a schnitzel and loved it. Tasteful beer available, a family place and a reasonable price (~10 euro per dish and less than 3 é euro per 0.5l beer).
